May Newsletter

Dear Families,

We would all like to thank you for a wonderful year! We have all enjoyed watching your children learn and grow.

We are looking forward to our first All School Picnic on Wednesday. Just as a reminder we will meet at River Road Park from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. The address is 17535 Chagrin River Rd.  There are playgrounds, fields, bike paths and a pavilion. Each class has volunteers who are bringing donut holes and drinks. We will be sharing everything. I will bring balls, hula hoops and the parachute. If you would like to bring anything else feel free. All are welcome to join us.

We are working on next years calendar and class lists. If your child will be entering the pre-3 class, 4 year old class or 5 year old class you will get the time slot you signed up for. However the 3’s are still a little fluid. I am still receiving registrations and trying to keep the classes as even as I can.  I will do my very best to give you your first choice. Thank you for your patience.

I will bring TENTATIVE  calendars to the picnic on Wednesday. The calendar and medical forms along with all paperwork needed to enter school in the fall will be on the website by the middle of June. If your child has a summer birthday and will be heading to the doctor for his/her well check you can print a medical form from the website. I will also  bring a few to the picnic for anyone who would like a hard copy.

This is always such a bittersweet time of year for me. I am always excited for summer and all that it entails, yet sad to see friends move on.  Thank you so much for sending us your children. We have families who have only been with us for a short time and others like the Carrus and Tropf families who will be leaving us after their fourth child. Many of the children who are leaving us we have known since before they were born, we have loved watching them grow from infants to toddlers and then as preschoolers themselves. Hard to believe they are heading off to Kindergarten already. We look forward to watching them continue to grow. Please feel free to come back to visit us!

Enjoy your summer!

Thank you,

Shawn
